§ Mr. Walker-SmithI am aware of the results of Dr. Maclean's investigations which have been published in a journal widely read in the public health service.
I am advised that if the general hygienic precautions recommended in the Memorandum: "Safeguards to be adopted in the day-to-day administration of Water Undertakings" are followed, there should be no danger to the public health. I am informed that the Metropolitan Water Board has followed the advice in this Memorandum.
