Mr. Osborneasked the President of the Board of Trade what communication he has received from the Canadian Government on the subject of joint negotiations with China for the resumption of greater trade; and, since unemployment is growing on both sides of the Atlantic, what steps he is proposing to take, by means of such joint negotiations, to increase Anglo-Chinese trade and so provide more work in Great Britain.
