§ 87. Mr. Brockwayasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what conclusions have been reached by the Committees set up at the Nigerian constitutional conference to make recommendations on the federal electoral law, minorities, finance and other subjects; and when the constitutional conference will be resumed to consider the reports of the Committees.
§ Mr. ProfumoThe Committees on Federal Electoral Law and the Central Marketing Board reported to anad hoc meeting of the Conference which met in Lagos from 4th to 6th February. The report of the meeting is now being prepared and should be published before very long. The Minorities, Boundaries and Fiscal Commissions are not likely to submit their reports for some months, and until they are received no date for the resumed Conference can be fixed.
