NichollsHer Majesty's Stationery Office has published a handbook, "Thermal Insulation of Buildings," giving the results of heat transmission tests carried out over a number of years at the Building Research Station of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research. This publication gives full details of alternative methods of heat insulation and their cost for many different types of construction.
