Mrs. Butlerasked the Minister of Health the result of his examination of treatment available for sufferers from multiple sclerosis in this country; and what action he proposes to take to make clinical treatment on a more comprehensive scale available through the National Health Service for sufferers from this disease.
§ Mr. Walker-SmithI have no evidence to suggest that sufferers from multiple sclerosis are not receiving through the National Health Service the best treatment possible in the present state of our knowledge of the disease.
