§ 55 and 56. Mr. Padleyasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department (1) when he expects to introduce legislation to provide for the health, welfare and safety of workers in shops and offices on the lines recommended by the Gowers Committee;
(2) when he expects to re-introduce the Shops Bill dropped last Session on grounds of lack of time.
