§ Mr. Patrick Maitlandasked the Postmaster-General how many telephones are now working in East Kilbride; and how many applicants are awaiting service.
§ Mr. K. ThompsonAt 31st May, 1,811 telephones were working. There were 57 applications outstanding, with an additional 99 in course of provision or under inquiry.
During the past twelve months nearly 700 telephones have been installed.
