§ Mr. Vaughan-MorganThe Sale of Food (Weights and Measures) Act, 1926, does not place restrictions on the amounts in which butter may be sold unless the butter is prepacked. Prepacked butter, unless below 2 oz. in weight, may only be sold in quantities of 2 oz., 4 oz., in multiples of ¼ lb. up to 2 lb., in multiples of½ lb. up to 4 lb. and in multiples of lbs. thereafter.
