§ The Attorney-GeneralThe qualifications required for this appointment comprise a thorough knowledge of Admiralty practice and the ability to discharge the duties of Chief Clerk to the Admiralty Registry. The duties include the arrest, detention and release or sale of ships, 25W subject to the orders of the Court, and the general management of the Registry's business. The salary scale is £1,325£1,580; there are no other emoluments.
