§ 77. Mrs. L. Jegerasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what representations he has received from the Commonwealth Press Union about the present position of newspapers in Cyprus.
§ Mr. Lennox-BoydNone. The Presidant of the Commonwealth Press Union informed me on 17th July that a number of Cyprus newspapers had sought the good offices of the C.P.U. and that the Secretary-General, Mr. Barger, was going to Cyprus.
