§ Mr. Hastingsasked the Minister of Pensions and National Insurance what would be the increased cost to the 201W Exchequer if the family allowance paid on behalf of all children excepting the first were increased to £2 a week for all those under two years and three years, respectively; and what would be the extra cost if this sum were paid on behalf of all children under these ages including the first child.
