§ Mr. GodberThese Forestry Commission cottages, about 20 in number should receive a piped water supply within the next two or three months. The provision of electricity has been under consideration for some considerable time, but the Eastern Electricity Board will probably not be able to proceed for at least another two years. This will be an expensive project entailing laying some two miles of transmission lines with a transformer and associated equipment.
