§ Mr. Bodyasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether he is aware that there has been further flooding in the Wickford, Essex, area since the end of June; and what steps the Essex River Board is going to take to prevent further flooding in the future.
§ Mr. John HareThe Essex River Board informs me it is fully aware of the problem created by the situation of Wickford in the natural flood plain of the River Crouch. The board is investigating the possibilities of a long term solution and, in the meantime, will consider what temporary alleviation is practicable.
