§ Mr. BevinsMy right hon. Friend has confirmed thirty-four orders establishing smoke control areas under the Clean Air Act, 1956. Thirteen further orders have been submitted to him for confirmation and are now under consideration. Proposals for a further 102 smoke control areas have been provisionally notified to him by local authorities.
