§ Mr. Masonasked the President of the Board of Trade the estimated cost of showing the British section of the Brussels Exhibition in London and some of the large provincial cities; and to what extent his Department is sympathetically considering this idea.
§ Sir D. EcclesI do not know of any plans on the part of the firms concerned in the British Industry section to stage their exhibits in this country. With regard to the Government pavilion, I would refer the hon. Member to the Answer I gave yesterday to my hon. Friend the Member for Hornsey (Lady Gammans). I am informed that it would not be practicable to take the British exhibits round the country because of the form of construction of the buildings.
