§ 75. Colonel Beamishasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation what directions he has given to the British Transport Commission arising out of the recommendations of the Central Transport Consultative Committee contained in paragraphs 35 and 36 of its report on the proposed withdrawal of train services from the Lewes-East Grinstead branch railway.
§ Mr. WatkinsonNo directions have been necessary as the Central Transport Consultative Committee is fully satisfied with the heads of information which it has now agreed with the British Transport Commission will be submitted in future in support of proposals to withdraw unremunerative services.
