§ Mr. Boyd-CarpenterI have no information about certificated sick leave. During the period 7th June, 1954, to 4th June, 1955, some 190,000 days of incapacity for work, among about 6,000 insured women, were certified for National Insurance purposes as due to "abortion" which is the term used to cover all types of miscarriage.
