asked the Minister of Defence (1) to what extent the policy of continuing to manufacture thermonuclear weapons is for the purpose of increasing stocks, replacing stocks or for continued experiment, respectively;

(2) how many thermonuclear bombs are stocked in this country on behalf of the British and the United States forces, respectively; and how long it is intended to accumulate stocks of these weapons.
