§ Commander NobleThe United Kingdom Delegate voted in favour of the United Nations Resolution levying a three per cent. surcharge on the dues paid by all ships passing through the Suez Canal. We are waiting for the Secretary-General of the United Nations to make detailed proposals which are to be the subject of negotiation between the United Nations and all the interested parties.
