§ 56. Mr. Wingfield Digbyasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he has yet decided whether improvement grants under the Agriculture Act, 1957, should be available for county council smallholdings.
§ Mr. John HareI have now decided in principle that county council smallholdings shall be eligible for these grants and my Department will shortly be discussing with the County Council's Association the effect of this decision on the contributions towards losses that are payable in certain circumstances under Part IV of the Agriculture Act, 1947.
