§ Captain Kerbyasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what demands, other than that Britain should hand over 172W the Aden Protectorate, were made by the Yemenite delegation which he received in London late last year.
§ Mr. Ormsby-GoreThe Yemeni delegation did not demand the immediate cession of the Aden Protectorate but put forward a suggestion, which Her Majesty's Government were not willing to entertain, that the Yemeni claim to it should be accepted now as the basis of a settlement to be made later. They also raised the question of the status of the island of Kamaran.
