asked the Prime Minister if, he will make a statement on his Commonwealth tour giving details of the countries he is due to visit and the people accompanying him; how much of the cost of the tour will fall on public funds; and for what reason he intends to take Mr. J. E. R. Wyndham with him on this tour.

My right hon. Friend is visiting India, Pakistan, Ceylon, Singapore, New Zealand and Australia. Details of the party and their functions will be circulated in the OFFICIAL REPORT. The main cost to the United Kingdom Exchequer will be that of transport to and from the countries visited.

together with secretarial and cypher staff, detective and servants.
