§ 93. Mr. Remnantasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government what advice or instructions he has given to development corporation boards in regard to the sale to industrial lessees of the freeholds or sites which they now occupy.
§ Mr. BevinsDevelopment corporations have been told that any application to sell the freehold of industrial premises or sites, or to dispose of them on long leases, would be favourably considered.
§ 94. Mr. Remnantasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government whether he will consider the sale of houses in new towns to industries established there for the occupation of their own staff and employees.
§ Mr. BevinsMy right hon. Friend is not aware of any demand for this from industries in new towns, but in any case he does not think it would be desirable.
