§ 82. Mr. J. Johnsonasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what progress he has made in Paris negotiating the Free Trade Area agreement; and what British industries, other than agriculture, he has attempted to safeguard.
§ Mr. MaudlingProgress continues to be made with the negotiations. As regards the second part of the Question, Her Majesty's Government regard it as essential to ensure that there are rules to prevent unfair trading practices throughout the whole field of industry.
