Bossomasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will endeavour, in this year's Price Review, to pursue a policy which will enable the farming community to retain a greater share of the reward from its own increased efficiency, the real income of farmers having fallen substantially in recent years although that of the community as a whole has risen.
§ Mr. John HareWhile I must not be taken as accepting all the implication of my hon. Friend's Question, I can assure him that all the relevant factors will be taken fully into account in the annual review of the economic condition and prospects of the agricultural industry which is now in progress; but I must not anticipate the decisions to be taken in the light of it.
