§ Mr. WatkinsonBetween 1st April, 1946, and 31st March, 1957, British Overseas Airways Corporation's capital expenditure totalled £140,500,000. Of this sum, £56,000,000 was provided from internal sources. £63,750,000 was raised by issues of stock to the National Debt 149W Commissioners with Treasury guarantee, £9,900,000 by advances from the Exchequer and £10,800,000 by bank loan.
