§ Captain Kerbyasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty if he will give an assurance that at least three of H.M. "Loch" class frigates, now in the Persian Gulf, will at all times be available for the defence of Aden.
§ Mr. AllanA number of frigates will be kept in the Persian Gulf. At present these are "Loch" class. There is no intention at the moment to replace them by any other class. The number and type may, of course, vary according to circumstances.
