77. Mrs. Butlerasked the Minister of Health whether it is proposed to undertake the closure of ventricular septal defects in young children at all the centres at which the equipment for performing such operations is now or will shortly become available.
§ Mr. Walker-SmithI am advised that this operation is still in an early stage of development and it is not yet possible to say when or whether it will be performed at all these centres.
