§ Mr. Brockwayasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies for what reasons the Cattle Slaughter Control Ordinance of Northern Rhodesia has been extended to the Eastern Province.
§ Mr. Lennox-BoydThe Ordinance, which controls by permit the slaughter of immature and breeding cattle was extended to the Eastern Province in order to control the slaughter of breeding stock in the interests of encouraging the cattle industry in the Port Jameson area.
