asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies when he will make a statement on the future of the Colony of Cyprus.

Mr. Lennox-Boyd

Since hon. Members tabled their Questions my right hon. Friend the Foreign Secretary has gone to Athens for discussions about Cyprus, and has asked the Governor to join him. The House will, I hope, understand if I do not make any statement today.
