asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs if he will arrange for an immediate inquiry to take place regarding the disposal of sewage by the Hythe Borough Council and the Elham Rural District Council; and if, in particular, he will state what was the condition of the main sewers on 7th February, 1958.

My right hon. Friend has no information before him which suggests that an inquiry is called for and I can only suggest that my hon. and gallant Friend should approach the local authority on the second part of his Question as they alone can give this information.
