asked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation how many road accidents caused by a defect in the hydraulic braking system occurred in Great Britain in the period 1st January to 31st December, 1957, or in such other recent period of twelve months as may be convenient.

asked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation how many motor cyclists died as the result of head injuries sustained in road accidents in Great Britain between 1st January and 31st December, 1957, or in such other recent period of twelve months as may be convenient; and in how many of these cases the motor cyclist was wearing a crash helmet when he met with the accident.
