§ Mr. Walker-SmithThere are 13 hospitals in Wales at which Part III accommodation is provided for persons, including aged persons, in need of care and attention. The number of persons in need of care for whom accommodation is provided by local authorities in hospitals under a transitional provision of the National Assistance Act is slowly declining but it is not at present possible to say when these arrangements can be brought to an end.
