§ 72. Mr. Peytonasked the Minister of Labour if, in view of the need to increase efficiency and reduce costs, he will encourage firms which have not already done so to make full use of method and work study.
§ Mr. Iain MacleodI attach much importance to the application of work study in undertakings of all kinds. Firms are encouraged by my own, and other Departments, to make full use of work study methods in the promotion of which the British Productivity Council also is actively engaged.
