HC Deb 04 February 1958 vol 581 c160W
102. Lady Tweedsmuir

asked the Lord Advocate whether he will ask the Scottish Law Reform Committee to examine the legal differences between English and Scottish law concerning the acceptance of movables as security in the granting of loans to industry.

The Lord Advocate

I recognise the need for an examination of the question to which my hon. Friend refers and I shall at the earliest possible opportunity ask the Scottish Law Reform Committee to consider it.
