§ Sir W. Robson-Brownasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation whether he will consider combining the administration of London Airport and Gatwick, and move it from the control 170W of the civil aviation authorities, and instead put it under the control of an independent board.
§ Mr. NeaveI do not think it desirable at this stage to consider transferring the control of London Airport and Gatwick to an independent board. We have, however, recently appointed a General Manager for London Airports who will combine the administration of London Airport with that of Gatwick when the latter is opened in a few months' time.
