asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what is the present position of the Colonies in the negotiations concerning the Common Market.

Colonial Governments have been invited to send representatives to accompany the United Kingdom delegation to a Working Party of G.A.T.T. in Geneva, which is to report on the effects on trade in particular commodities of the association of overseas territories with the European Economic Community.
