§ 118. Mr. Haleasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is aware that the decision of the Muschamp Engineering Co. Ltd. to discontinue manufacture at Oldham is due to falling orders for textile machines consequent on the recession in the textile industry; and whether he will now consider the possibility of the re-equipment of cotton mills on the basis of the provision of long-term Government leasing of machines.
