Mr. Mellish

asked the Minister of Defence what weapons are included amongst the 400 sstandardisation agreements reached by the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation's Standardisation Agency; and to what extent these are now in use by the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation's troops.

I have been asked to reply.

The 3.5-inch rocket launcher and its ammunition, and the .3-inch small arms round. I am not in a position to say which countries besides Britain use them. Most of the agreements relate to components, like couplings, supplies, like fuels, or procedures.
