§ 59. Mr. Edward Evansasked the Secretary of State for Air whether he will take immediate steps to release the disused airfield at Holton, Suffolk, so that it may be available for industrial purposes in view of the high incidence of unemployment in the north-east Suffolk area now scheduled under the Distribution of Industries (Financial Provisions) Act.
Mr. WardThe sale of the airfield has already been authorised but I have received no request for its use for industrial purposes.
