§ Sir R. Robinsonasked the Secretary,A State for the Colonies what steps have been taken towards the formation of the Federation in Aden Protectorate and for the provision of buildings and other facilities for the Federal Government.
§ Mr. Lennox-BoydNegotiations with the Rulers are continuing satisfactorily, and it is the intention of Her Majesty's Government to make a start with the buildings for the Federal Government as soon as possible and to provide funds during the current financial year for this and certain other services for the Federal Government in anticipation of its early inauguration. Provision for expenditure to be incurred this year will be sought by presentation of a supplementary estimate. In the meantime funds will be made available from the Civil Contingencies Fund.
