§ Sir E. BoyleOn the 2nd December the Council was informed that my right hon. Friend's provisional offer of grant of £1,218 towards the cost of laying out the Eden Lane playing field was confirmed; that sanction had been recommended for a loan to cover the balance of the cost; and that work might start on four tennis courts which are the subject of a further application for grant.
