HC Deb 10 December 1958 vol 597 c81W
Mr. Mason

asked the Minister of Labour what assessment has been made of the number of railway workers who will be declared redundant as a result of reorganisation of train and traffic workings in Barnsley and district, with particular reference to the closing of Pindar Oaks and Stairfoot marshalling yards.

Mr. Iain Macleod

I understand that 142 railway workers will be affected, and that they will be dealt with under the existing redundancy agreements.
