§ 121. Mr. Mulleyasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if his attention has been drawn to Recommendation 184 (1958) of the Consultative Assembly of the Council of Europe concerning the present situation in central and eastern Europe; whether, on behalf of Her Majesty's Government, he will make such a declaration as is set out in the Recommendation; and if he will make a statement of the action Her Majesty's Government proposes to take to give effect to the Recommendation.
§ Mr. ProfumoMy right hon. and learned Friend's attention has been drawn to the Recommendation in question. It was considered by the Ministers' Deputies at their meeting from 17th to 20th November, and a decision reached 79W regarding action on it. It would be improper for me to reveal that decision before it has been communicated to the Consultative Assembly.
