§ 116. Mr. Gowerasked the President of the Board of Trade if he will state the number, size and value of new factory buildings erected in Wales during the period of twelve months up to the latest convenient date.

RodgersIn the twelve months ended the 31st October, 1958, 77 new factory buildings and extensions, in area over 2–7 million square feet, were completed in Wales and Monmouthshire. 43W Buildings not exceeding 5,000 square feet are excluded. As I told the hon. Member for Motherwell (Mr. Lawson) last week, figures of value are no longer collected.
