§ 74. Sir W. Anstruther-Grayasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will give, in mileage and cost, the latest figures of road improvement under the Agriculture (Improvement of Roads) Act.
§ Mr. MaclayTo date, 19 schemes in Scotland involving 48 miles of road and estimated to cost about £142,000 have been formally approved. In addition, preliminary approval has been given to four schemes involving five miles of road at an estimated expenditure of about £12,000, for which detailed specifications have still to be submitted.
