HC Deb 04 December 1958 vol 596 c173W
Lieut.-Colonel Bromley-Davenport

asked the Attorney General how many public Trustee offices there are in the country; and if he is satisfied that a sufficient number are available for consultation by the public.

The Attorney-General

The Public Trustee has one office, which is in London. His only branch, which was in Manchester, was closed, as recommended by the Holmes Committee, in September, 1956. My noble Friend, the Lord Chancellor, is satisfied that the present arrangements are adequate.
