ThompsonThe British Board-casting Corporation has plans, subject to technical examination, for further improvements and extensions of its television coverage over a period of years, by means of a number of low-power satellite144W stations. The Corporation has now submitted their plans to my right hon. Friend. I cannot say at this stage what it may be possible to do for particular areas. The Independent Television Authority has not yet made any plans for the Scarborough area.
