§ 102. Mr. Hunterasked the Postmaster-General what is the number of applicants waiting for telephone service at the Feltham and Hounslow exchanges.
§ Mr. K. ThompsonAt the 31st October, 274 applicants were waiting for service on the Feltham exchange in addition, 199 applications were in the course of being met or under inquiry. The figures for Hounslow were 1,711 and 131 respectively. The position at Hounslow will be materially improved when the new Isleworth exchange is opened in the spring of next year.
