Pannellasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what consultations he has had with the trade unions concerned, and what compensation he proposes to award, in respect of industrial employees who are likely to become redundant because of closure or substantial reduction of Government defence establishments.

The gratuities payable under the Superannuation Acts will, of course, be awarded to unestablished staff.
